  • Just a Little Pick Me Up by Johnny Beauford

Just a Little Pick Me Up shows it’s very own set of full studio album teeth from the get go and the wide range of feel and influences in this 10 track LP range from Kurt Vile to Pavement to Tom Petty to the Kinks. This batch of songs seems to champion the music in between genres throughout rather than cheapened duplicates of songs we’ve all got living in our blood stream already.

  • Bullfighter Blues by Bravo, Max!

“an engaging, colorfully diverse and sonically dynamic record seemingly guided by its own personal spirit animal”

    -Peter Lindbald, Elmore Magazine, NYC

    “a real rock powerhouse”

    –Paul Jackson, FATEA RECORDS, UK

“party for your head. Wild stuff for those ready to rock outside the lines.”

    -Chris Spector, Midwest Record

  • On Curvy Roads & Shitty Tires by Jack Kerowax

A live EP by Jack Keowax circa 2015. This release includes live versions of "Bliss", "Moonshine Barber", and "Stella" from the bands 2014 debut LP alongside a Neil Young cover and 3 newer originals the band was working up while touring.

Recorded on August 27th, 2015 in Evergreen, CO. The EP was tracked in one take at Evergroove Studio, a solar powered recording studio tucked high in the Rocky Mountains, while the band was touring the Southern half of the U.S. in 2015.

  • Kerowax by Jack Kerowax

The 10-track album was recorded, mixed, and mastered solely on analog equipment at Ferralog Studios in Dallas, TX.

“Indie-pop, Americana, and ingenious Texas blues”

    -REAL ROOTS CAFE, THE NETHERLANDS

After it’s released the song “Bliss” became the obvious favorite at every live show and on local radio as well as radio play and press for the record in many more places than expected. The LP Kerowax hit #20 on Euro Americana Chart for January 2015. “Bliss” remained on Top Hits list on DFW public radio 91.7KXT for 15 straight weeks to start 2015, and is still played on the local AAA station to this day. Another track “Moonshine Barber” made it’s debut on the “No Depression” Podcast.

“Jack Kerowax serve up killer Americana on stellar debut album”

    – JEFFREY SISK, PITTSBURGH IN TUNE

  • Deadmoon Choir S/T

Deadmoon Choir’s self-titled debut is simultaneously barbaric and beautifully constructed. The albums (6) songs explore themes of lost love, whiskey-soaked heartache, and reflection on life’s dark man-made realities.

Thematically, Deadmoon Choir could easily be paired with classic country songs of old, and yet, the raw aggression communicated through Martinez’s, Padgett’s, and Nunez’s vocals gives their story songs a decisively punk rock strength. This rebellious strength, layered over lyrics laced with tragedy, pushes Deadmoon Choir in a direction with far more liberation than despair.

  • A Pig Eating Past Love by Johnny Beauford

Tracked at Beauford’s home studio, these songs we demos for a potential new full length. The EP was released in 2014.

“Going from Blues to Folk to Rock and back again, the release contains many strong moments and proves why he has been such a strong part of the Dallas, Texas music scene for years.” (On A Pig Eating Past Love)

    - Matheson Kamin, THE ROCK AND ROLL REPORT

“Johnny Beauford seems to be helping shift the Dallas music scene’s rep just a little on his own, proving that the city is not just big hair and expensive churches”

    -Ivan Guzman, INDIE HOUSTON

  • Dog's Light by Bravo Max

“On their debut Dog’s Light LP, released earlier this year, Bravo, Max! showcased themselves as a band unafraid of instrumental experimentation and sensitive lyricism. That, however, all stems from the band’s biggest strength: frontman Johnny Beauford, who may be the most promising young songwriter in the region.”

    - Pete Freedman, DALLAS OBSERVER

"Whatever "IT" is, they have it in spades"

    -Randall Brown, THE SYNAPTIC

    “Their music is infectious”

    - Seth Cohn, DENTON RECORD CHRONICLE

The debut album from bravo, max!, Dog’s Light, alternates between soulfully raucous pop and aggressive Americana. Produced by analog hold steady and Grammy winner, Oz Fritz (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Iggy Pop) the album was recorded at Prairie Sun Studios in Cotati, CA, in just under 30 hours.
